Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour
Summary/Objective
Responsible for providing intensive/focused behavioral intervention services to clients with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental delays in language, cognitive, adaptive behavior, social-emotional, self-care, fine motor, gross motor and communication development. The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is ultimately responsible for direct delivery of the behavioral services to the children and families, as well as accurate record keeping of case notes and excellent communication with supervising BCBA about the program and the progress of the behavior service plans. The RBT maintains a weekly billable caseload of service hours as directed by the Clinical Director.
Essential Functions
· Provide direct therapy in individual and group sessions.
· Implements individualized treatment plan as written and directed by consultant.
· Collects accurate data and graphs data as instructed.
· Maintains dignity and confidentiality for all clients.
· Ensures safety and wellbeing of all clients.
· Completes and returns session notes and other paperwork on time and manages client PHI in accordance with HIPAA.
· Possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to meet Nevada’s driving requirements
· Dependable means of transportation

Required Education and Experience:
· An educational coursework completed in the areas of marriage and family therapy, child development, special education, psychology, social work, or related field.
· A minimum of one year experience working with children
· RBT Certification, preferred
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
· Ability to stand and circulate for extended periods of time.
· Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
· Moderate to high stress levels.
· Work fluctuates between home and community environment.
· Regular contact with parents, community members, and supervising BCBA.
· Hazards: Incumbent may be exposed to contact with individuals displaying physically aggressive, self-abusive, or socially undesirable behavior.
· Ability and willingness to travel between client locations for appointments as assigned in a punctual manner.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time or part-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Saturday, hours will fluctuate based on workload and client schedule. Weekend work will be required based on client needs. Benefits and paid time off available to full-time employees.
Travel
This position requires some travelling between client residences, schools, and/or clinic locations in the Las Vegas and Henderson area.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must pass a 40-hour online training, competency exam, and written exam if not yet RBT certified.

Must pass a criminal history background check and drug screening
