The Role:
The Social Media Intern will support the @Vegas social media channels, the Las Vegas Monorail, and Extended Destinations by contributing to influencer strategy and channel growth. This role provides hands-on experience in the strategic side of social media, with a focus on developing influencer partnerships and expanding targeted verticals such as weddings and other niche markets. It’s an opportunity to help shape content direction while learning the dynamics of brand building and audience engagement.
What You’ll Accomplish:

- Assist in identifying, researching, and vetting influencer partners that align with the brand’s values and strategic goals.
- Support the planning and execution of influencer campaigns, including outreach, communication, and deliverable management.
- Track and analyze influencer campaign performance, providing regular reports on engagement and key metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to ensure influencer content aligns with the overall brand and channel strategy.
- Contribute to the development and execution of channel strategies, with an emphasis on niche verticals such as weddings.
- Help maintain campaign calendars, timelines, and status reports to ensure smooth project execution.
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices related to influencer marketing and audience growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- Currently enrolled as a student at a Nevada System of Higher Education institution.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Available to work in the office for at least 20 hours per week.
- Support community management by actively engaging with comments across social media platforms and monitoring online conversations to identify emerging trends and strategic opportunities for engagement.
- Strong interest in social media strategy, influencer marketing, and emerging digital trends.
- Excellent organizational skills and clear, effective communication abilities.
- Proven ability to collaborate and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Comfortable conducting research and tracking data for reporting and analysis.
- Genuine enthusiasm for the Las Vegas brand and its diverse audience segments.
- Flexible and willing to work outside of standard business hours as needed.
