Library Tales Publishing is an independent publishing house based in Las Vegas, dedicated to discovering and publishing bold voices across genres, from memoir and fiction to poetry and cultural nonfiction. Our editorial team is passionate about storytelling that challenges, inspires, and connects.
We’re currently offering a Manuscript Reading & Editorial Internship exclusively for UNLV students in a relative major, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the editorial process in a professional publishing environment.

What You’ll Do:
- Read and evaluate incoming manuscript submissions (fiction, nonfiction, and memoir)
- Write reader reports and provide thoughtful editorial feedback
- Assist in proofreading and line editing accepted manuscripts and promotional materials
- Help prepare editorial notes and author communications
- Conduct research on comparable titles, literary trends, and markets
- Collaborate with the editorial team on developmental editing and content planning
