Who We Are: Mako Advanced Materials (“Mako”) is an innovative advanced materials company specializing in the development and manufacturing of high-performance composite products for various industries such as aerospace, automotive, and renewable energy. About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Business student to join our team as an intern. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our team in a dynamic environment where you will gain hands-on experience in a range of administrative and operational tasks within our office.

Qualifications/Skills:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Great communication skills and a proactive/hands-on attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn new skills and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Management: Contribute to improving office processes and systems to enhance efficiency and productivity. Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing, record keeping, data entry, and office AD HOC projects.
- Vendor Management: Support the application and onboarding process for new vendors and customers, including gathering necessary documentation, and information for applications.
- Accounting Support: Aid with basic accounting tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, inventory workflow and reconciliation of billing records.
- Project Coordination: Contribute to the planning and execution of special projects that drive business growth and operational excellence. Support team with in-house and contractor communication.
- Marketing Support: Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns, including content creation, market research, and social media supervision.
Internship Details:
- Part-time, paid internship for a duration of 4 to 8 months.
- Able to commute to company location in Henderson, Nevada.
- On-the-job training and mentoring by experienced professionals.
