Job Title: Social Media Content Creation Intern
Employer: Messina Glam LLC

Job Description:
We have options: E-Commerce industry via Messina Glam Makeup, our non-profit LGBTQ VSAP (Veterans Suicide Awareness Program).

I’m looking for 2 interns per assignment. Messina Glam Makeup or LGBTQ VSAP non-profit.

This is an unpaid internship for college credit, but there are opportunities for commissions and to expand your portfolio. Interns will be considered for a salary position after their internship.

We’re inviting a select few candidates to apply. Check out the role and let me know if you have any questions. This is for College Credit – if that won’t work, please do not reach out.

Specific Skills We’re Looking For:
– Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for photo editing and graphic design
– Basic knowledge of social media content formats (e.g., 9:16 for TikTok, 1:1 for Instagram)
– Understanding of design principles, including color theory and typography
– Familiarity with current social media trends and tools
– Strong communication and time-management skills
– Optional but preferred: Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Canva, or video editing software like Premiere Pro

Minimum Requirements:
– Current enrollment in a college or university program offering credit for internships
– Access to a personal computer and Adobe Photoshop (student licenses available via Adobe Creative Cloud)
– Ability to work independently in a remote environment
– Submission of a portfolio or samples of previous graphic design work
– Commitment to 10-12 weeks and 10-15 hours per week

Expected Responsibilities:
– Design social media graphics such as promotional posters, lyric cards, and event teasers aligned with Jennifer’s pop star aesthetic
– Edit photos from performances, photoshoots, or fan events using Photoshop for professional-quality posts
– Create thumbnails and static visuals for short-form video content, including single releases and fan engagement campaigns
– Collaborate with the team to brainstorm content ideas that reflect Jennifer’s music and personality
– Deliver assigned projects on time, maintaining consistent quality for her online brand
