About Run on Climate:
We are a non-profit dedicated to supporting local-level climate action across the country. As a Social Media Intern, you’ll play a crucial role in spreading our message far and wide, inspiring others to join the cause for a greener future.
Our Social Media Interns are assigned a communications platform(s) to create content and manage the analytics to increase audience and engagement. Interns with strong content creation or writing experience may create content for multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging content for our social media platforms, including Instagram, Bluesky, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Implement social media strategies to raise awareness about climate issues and our initiatives.
- Engage with our online community, responding to comments and messages.
- Monitor social media analytics and help optimize content for better reach and impact.
Requirements:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program (or recent graduate) in marketing, communications, videography, english, or a related field.
- Ability to self-organize time and project deadlines.
- Video creation experience, video editing experience or prior social media content creation experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in a content creation tool (Canva, Adobe, CapCut, etc) is preferred, but not required.
- Experience working in a remote setting is preferred, but not required.
