Kick Off Your Career in Social Media
The Abbi Agency (TAA) is on the lookout for our next class of social media interns! If you’re curious about how memes and metrics can live in the same sentence, this is the place for you. Keep reading for the who, what, where, when and why, plus more good stuff.
INTRODUCTION
This internship is a semester-long role in the social media department, requiring a commitment of 15 hours per week.
TAA’s internship program is designed to supply real-world agency experience and professional development in a collaborative and creative environment. Interns work closely with a designated mentor who will provide personalized guidance throughout the program.
ABOUT SOCIAL MEDIA
Social media is all about scroll-stopping content that packs a punch. As an intern, you’ll be part of an all-star team that turns creative ideas into likes, shares and saves while helping brands stand out from the rest.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Day-to-day content creation for a variety of clients
- Assist in reporting analytics for clients
- Learn to create content calendars and draft documents for content
- Assist with social media interactions to ensure client accounts remain engaged with followers and non-followers
- Utilize CapCut and Canva to create reels and static posts
THE ABBI ACADEMY
School is in session! All TAA interns receive insight into multiple departments through our Abbi Academy program. You’ll get a front-row seat to the way an integrated agency operates, plus a real look into the teamwork and creativity that fuel our agency!
COMPENSATION
Interns receive a stipend of $850 upon completion of the internship, meant to help cover the cost of an internship course credit fee at your university.
REQUIREMENTS
- College junior or senior standing as of Fall 2026 (Preferred)
- Works well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong writing and research skills
- Current knowledge of social media platforms, influencers and trends
- Proficient in Google Suite, including Gmail, Google Drive, etc.
- Ability to work 15 hours per week on a schedule set by you and the intern manager
