About Nevada Community Enrichment Program (NCEP):
Nevada Community Enrichment Program (NCEP) is a highly recognized leader in the field of brain injury and cardiac rehabilitation. We are the only non-profit, post-acute comprehensive brain injury rehabilitation program in Nevada serving individuals with acquired and traumatic brain injuries, neurological diagnoses, spinal cord injuries, and other complex diagnoses. Nevada Community Enrichment Program (NCEP) is dedicated to providing a therapeutic environment that encourages evidence-based, comprehensive rehabilitation in a community-based setting while promoting training and education. Our goal is to ensure that all rehabilitation is person-centered and driven, so that each individual may reach their highest potential and level of independence.
Internship Role Title:
Marketing/Business Development Intern
Key Responsibilities:
Assist our clinical marketing manager to create and maintain our NCEP brand by assisting with digital, media, and public presentation opportunities.
Teaching Objectives:
NCEP’s goal is to provide every COLA intern with an unmatched experience that will provide ample opportunity for each student to develop and attain personal and professional life goals, skills, and dreams which will be the beginning of their journeys into the professional workforce. Our NCEP family will build each student into prepared, competent, and professional executive-level team members who will bring their talents and strengths to the next level where they will be valued and respected collaborative partners in any professional organization. NCEP will prepare each student for their next steps after graduation by mentoring and coaching them in areas of communication, project and time management, organizational collaboration and professionalism, multi-tasking prioritization and business operations, and non-profit functions.

This internship is part of the College of Liberal Arts Internship Program and includes the required enrollment in COLA 402, the Career and Professional Development course. COLA 402 plays a vital role in your professional growth, providing you with key skills and strategies for your career. Through this program, you will have the opportunity to test out a career or setting that you may want to pursue professionally, build your confidence, grow your skill sets, expand your network, and add valuable experience to your resume or CV. Additionally, you may have the chance to earn a scholarship! Depending on your completed credits and prior enrollment, your course plan for COLA 402 may be adjusted. COLA Internship Program Requirements:
Before hiring…
- Currently enrolled as a Liberal Arts major
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Completed 60 credits (at time of internship)
- CBRI Only: Completed at least one research methods course (at time of application)
After hiring…
- Enrollment in COLA 402
- 120 hours per semester
- Monthly surveys
