This organization exists to inspire student pursuit of a career in public works through education regarding the diversity of career paths available and the socioeconomic impact of the profession. APWA serves its members by promoting professional excellence and public awareness through education, advocacy, and the exchange of knowledge. The Student Section shall engage in a program of activities designed to further the mission including: the scheduling of regular meetings of its membership, hearing from guest speakers in the industry, and attending APWA events to connect with professionals.
