Working with an Engineering, Hospitality, or Business Student?

Know that Lee Business School, Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering, and Harrah College of Hospitality have specialized Career Centers or Services available for students who fall into these colleges. You may fill out the referral form and we will pass the information along to the respective centers, or you can reach out to them directly by visiting their website or reaching out to them:

UNLV campus departments are encouraged to post all available positions on Handshake. This ensures equitable access to opportunities for UNLV students. You may create an account by clicking the button below. You can also view the video below for a step-by-step guide on getting started with Handshake.

Here are a few reminders:

  1. The ACE ID login is only set up for students in Handshake, so you will need to login with your email and a password as an employer in the system.
  2. If you would like to create a mock student account to see Handshake from the student view, please reach out to us at careerservices@unlv.edu.
  3. If you are hiring for a position that is open to both work study and non-work study students, leave the work study box unchecked when you create your job posting so it can be seen by all students, not just those eligible for work study.
  4. For the Job Type, select On-Campus Student Employment for regular student positions and Graduate School for graduate assistantships.

Please reach out to us at careerservices@unlv.edu for assistance with any part of the process.

Meet with one of our trained Life Design facilitators to discuss your own career development needs, get support with adding Life Design to your curriculum, or schedule a workshop for your team or class.
