Robotics and Robotic Programming Internship
Las Vegas, Nevada | Onsite | Part-Time
We’re looking for someone who understands robots — not just how they move, but how to make them work smarter. This role sits at the intersection of hands-on manufacturing and cutting-edge automation, focused on replacing manual labor with precise, programmable robotic systems that make U.S. manufacturing genuinely cost-effective.
The role
You’ll design and program robotic systems to perform tasks previously done by hand. That means writing the code, modeling the parts, and seeing it through to a working machine on the floor.
What you’ll do
– Design and program industrial robots to take over manual manufacturing tasks- Build and refine 3D models and designs of robotic hands and end-effectors capable of performing specific functions- Translate real-world manufacturing problems into automated, repeatable robotic solutions- Test, troubleshoot, and iterate on robotic systems until they perform with precision- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities- Document programming logic, design specs, and process improvements
About you
– Hands-on experience programming and operating industrial robots- Proficiency in 3D design and modeling tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)- Understanding of mechanical design principles — especially for robotic hands and end-of-arm tooling- Ability to think through a manufacturing process and map it to an automated solution- Detail-oriented; precision matters in this work
Nice to have
– Familiarity with PLC programming or CNC systems- Experience in a U.S. manufacturing environment- Exposure to simulation tools for robotic motion planning
What we offer
The chance to work on real problems in American manufacturing. You’ll see your designs and programs running on actual equipment, not in a simulation.
