Maritz’s in-house creative agency, Cartwheel, is looking for a summer 2024 design intern! This 10–12-week program is your opportunity to gain valuable professional design experience working as part of a supportive and dynamic team of creatives.
You will assist Cartwheel’s Senior Designers with a variety of design and video production needs, such as creation of logo designs, website updates, email campaigns, PowerPoint presentation designs, digital white paper layout, selecting photos for materials, and other ad hoc projects.
This internship also includes lunch & learns with a variety of departments, executive/leadership meet & greets, team building with the cohort, intern events, career support resources, and more.
Position is 40 hours a week, M-F daytime hours, working on site at our Fenton location three days a week.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Word)
Ability to take direction, work independently, and complete assigned tasks within identified timeframe - Minimum GPA of 2.5 or above
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with a completion of 60 credit hours, or currently enrolled in a master’s degree/PHD program. Interns that are graduating in May or August do not qualify; candidates must be enrolled and returning to their university or college
- Currently pursuing a degree in Web and Digital Design, Digital Multimedia Design, Art & Design with a concentration in Digital Art, or Graphic Design required
- Must have full-time availability for the summer internship period
- Bonus (but not required): Experience in web development (HTML, CSS)
