The University Association of Social Work Students is an organization that focuses on cultivating professional connections between those in the social work field, both at UNLV and in the community. UASWS strives to be a forum through which social work students and professionals can meet to share ideas, experiences, and to learn from each other. The club also acts as a liaison between the UNLV School of Social Work and its BSW/MSW students to ensure that everyone’s voice is heard. The organization unites students with social work professionals, agencies, and resources in the community through social and educational events, fundraisers, and community service projects.
